At T&I Credit Union, we are driven and dedicated to the overall improvement of people's lives. We are here to partner with you through all of the ups and downs of life. Our History: T&I Credit Union was founded in 1955 by Ford Tractor Employees in Birmingham. In 1987, we relocated to our current location in Clawson. However, our goal of serving our members and communities has always remained the same. We do so by remaining competitive with low interest rates on loans, special offers and deals, and constant involvement in schools and the communities we reside in.

I have always been a member of credit unions my entire life. I have always been very satisfied with the personal attention and service that I received from credit unions. T&I is no different. T&I goes above and beyond to make sure that all of my needs are met and that any questions I have are answered. The personal touch that I receive at T&I is outstanding. When I walk inside of the T&I branch, conveniently located inside of Meritor, Greg always acknowledges me by name and welcomes me with a warm smile. This is not something that I would receive as a member of a large bank such as Chase or Bank of America.

I cannot say enough how great it is to have T&I located in the same building that I work. This has definitely added a convenience factor for me. As a person who works full time and goes to school, I often find myself extremely busy. Having my credit union located right inside my place of employment means I do not have to spend additional time driving somewhere else to take care of my banking needs.

I am very satisfied with the services and personal touch that T&I has given to me. It is safe to say that I will be a member of T&I for a long time.

I have been a member of T&I Credit union since 1999 and it has been a great experience from day one. Working with the staff on many occasions has been a very easy and wonderful experience. Everyone at the credit union is a problem solver and is always ready to help. I have always been able to trust T&I Credit Union staff such as Kathy, Gretchen, Lynn and Greg to give me honest and helpful feedback on how some of my loans should be scheduled and financed. The T&I Credit Union staff, under the direction of the very innovating/optimistic CEO Kathy Karner, have made some major milestones and are working towards a greater banking experience, expending their values and treating all members like family. I love being a member and even with technology advancing to the point of not having to step foot in the institution, I always try to stop by for a face to face interaction with this team.

COVID-19 Information & Programs

We Are Open to The Public!

Appointments will no longer be needed to enter the credit union. However, there will still be procedures we are all going to be required to follow:

  • Only 4 Members will be allowed in the credit union at one time.
  • Masks are still requested to be worn in the branch.
    • You may be asked to temporarily remove your mask if the teller cannot recognize who you are behind the mask.
  • Please use the provided hand sanitizer upon entering the credit union.
    • If you would like gloves, we will have some out in our lobby for you to use. However, we ask that you please dispose of them in a trash can or in your vehicle.
  • Staff members will be in the lobby to help encourage the safe practices we have laid out and to answer any of your questions.

Schedule an In-Office Appointment

To schedule an appointment, please call T&I Credit Union at (248) 588-6688. Appointments will be scheduled based on availability. We are open Monday-Friday from 9AM-3PM

In-Office Requirements

While we are excited to begin a return to normalcy, we are taking all measures possible to continue to protect our members and staff. That being said, please read the below information prior to scheduling and arriving for any appointment at T&I Credit Union:

  • Masks must be worn at all times.
    • If you do not have a mask with you upon arriving, we cannot let you into the office.
    • We do have masks on hand upon request.
  • Hand sanitizer must be used upon entering and exiting the credit union.
    • Hand sanitizer will be accessible at every station, teller window, and loan booth.
  • No more than four persons will be allowed in the credit union at any one time.
  • A 6-foot distance must be maintained at all times.
